Creating A University: The Newfoundland Experience is
a collection of memoirs by more than 30 former faculty and staff of Memorial
University about personal and professional experiences working at
Newfoundland’s only university. It deals heavily with the early years of MUN,
and the formation of the university in the early 1950's. The book was edited by
former member of the English department, Roberta Buchanan, and former
sociologist Stephen Riggins. It’s introduced by provost and vice-president
Noreen Golfman.
