Benny Powell was born and raised in Labrador. He grew up and
became a captain with Air Labrador, and he now lives in the town of Happy
Valley- Goose bay with his family. When he was growing up, Benny spent his
winters in Charlottetown in Southern Labrador and moved from there to Square
Islands, thirteen miles east of Charlottetown, every summer.
Tales from a Labrador Pilot is Benny’s third book, and he
hopes readers will enjoy all of the stories and poems he has put together.
