Harbour Grace is my hometown and that led me to research and write about the relationship of people who were affected by an awful event, a religious riot, which occurred there on St. Stephen s Day, December 26th, 1883. This story is my attempt to humanize a very tragic story and, not to erase, but to help us understand our roots and why we are a better and more tolerant group than ever before.
